With the aim to reach an audience of University students and twenty-somethings in a saturated web-media market, Carbon Down is a website providing up-to-date information and helpful tips on climate change and carbon emission reduction.
I wanted the design of this project to feel empowering, rather than stressful, to make the information provided more approachable by a demographic who are already aware and concerned about climate issues.
The demographic is one that is familiar with a minimal interface approach, such as those used widely on social media platforms. I wanted to maintain the ease of use of these interfaces, while creating branding designed to capture attention.
This project was awarded as a finalist in the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) Awards for Student Digital.
